Digital Aesthetics Projects

In my Digital Aesthetics class, projects were assigned as though they were jobs to a client. One such job was an energy drink called "Fizzle", which I designed to look like this:

To me, "Fizzle" is a name that actually speaks to lacking energy, rather than being energetic, so my best thought was to evoke the sound of a neon sign, and have fizzle point toward something that continues, rather than something that ends. In addition, I designed the packaging to be able to easily pick up a 4-pack or 8-pack.

Another assignment was for a coffee company called "La Castellana". I chose a design that merged a coffee bean with a coffee cup, and went for a style where a small bag of gourmet coffee was modeled after a large sack of coffee beans.
